Oxford and Athens are the top two. Fayetteville and Tuscaloosa follow.
You suck.
I'd probably put Nashville there in place of Tuscaloosa. The city has done a lot of good things since the tornado and downtown is booming but it's not top 4 worthy yet imho.

Come on, man.
Did an Ole Miss bro make your girlfriend realize the female orgasm is real? Did your mom leave your dad for an Ole Miss man? Did an Ole Miss girl break your heart? What is it?
Good thing NWA is immune from this.

Agreed. I went to Oxford and was very underwhelmed. The square is nice though.
The square is nice, but the town is overrated. You have to bear in mind that their primary reference points are Baton Rouge, Starkville, and the rest of Mississippi.

Ive been to Cstat once and I loved it. I just think a lot of A&M fans are arrogant, at least they are in Dallas.

Hey, Fayetteville has those, too. But it isn't the overwhelming culture. And since you brought it up, that Kappa Sigma house actually does have a multi-billionaire alum.

Here it is. More evidence of your irrational hatred of all things Ole Miss, Oxford, and Mississippi

5. Knoxville
Tell me about your experience in Knoxville/this ranking, I'm genuinely interested. My time there I thought it was a little dumpy outside of the strip..no flame. I had fun there.

It isn't irrational. I'm just telling you the truth.
I realize you don't like to hear it.

CSB
So you didn't get a bid? Is this why you hate Oxford? Because a large percentage of our student body is greek?

No offense Vol fans. Y'all were awesome hosts when I visited in 2010 and Neyland Stadium is an awesome experience. But I'm just not a fan of Knoxville at all.
None taken. Knoxville isn't for everyone. I think most Knoxvillians will admit that the downtown area has a rundown and dirty feel to it. It's part of what makes Knoxville what it is.

You're telling me what you perceive to be the truth, bud. This, in no way, makes your statements rooted in fact.

BCS is ok to me. But to love i think you have to drink the Kool-Aid there. That's the case with most college towns tho.

Fine. Then you disagree with my perception? Go cry about it. Why you gotta be so dainty, sweetheart?

Southside of Tuscaloosa is not that great.
but the combination of Downtown/The Campus/North River/lake Tuscaloosa / Northport make up a pretty awesome area.
Downtown Tuscaloosa is going through a revitalization and soon enough all of the Auburn fans shitting on TTown here will be drowned out by other visiting fans giving Tuscaloosa compliments.
I haven't seen enough of the SEC towns to do a full ranking but I was surprised by how much I liked Tuscaloosa. I was there for a week for work back in december and the aboved mentioned sections of town were really nice. I can see how if all you saw of tuscaloosa was what you see on the interstate and the drive up to campus that it would appear to be a complete shithole.
As a side note: i feel like if College Station was in a forest like most of the deep south, people would rank it higher. I never realized how few trees exist in the area of texas around Houston and CS until I drove east of Louisiana and realized the entire south is wooded.

You have still yet to give me a valid reason for your obsession with Ole Miss, Oxford, and Mississippi.
Did an Ole Miss kid pick on you growing up? Are there some unpleasant memories from your childhood we shouldn't bring up?
