Oxford and Athens are the top two. Fayetteville and Tuscaloosa follow.
You suck.
You suck.

In no way do I expect Starkville to crack the top 10, but I can't wait to see all the uninformed opinions ITT.

Oxford, Athens, Auburn. Nashville isn't really a college town. Tuscaloosa is absolutely trash outside the university.

Nashville should be number one if it's being considered with the rest. Offers considerably more because of it's size.
Now let's hear everyone shite all over CS and Starkville

Another tSECr thread where folks rank teams/towns/stadiums/facilities/coeds/etc. about which they know nothing and/or have never seen.

raymond, you go to Innisfree? Have you ever had their bloody marys? They are fantastic.
Do you eat pork or are you still keeping kosher, raymond?

Good friend of mine got a job with a company based out of Tuscaloosa. Took his wife down there to look for a place to live and were shocked at what a craphole it was, she refused to live there. They bought a house in Birmingham and he commuted.
I'm sure B/CS will get bagged on here but it's a nice small city with just about anything you could want with a low crime rate and cost of living. Also is an easy drive to Houston, Austin, D/FW, or San Antonio. It always rates very highly on lists of places to live.
Honestly most of the SEC towns are nice or at least have their own charm. Baton Rouge pretty much sucks though outside of good food and being close to New Orleans. The town itself has an awful lot of really rough areas though.

Southside of Tuscaloosa is not that great.
but the combination of Downtown/The Campus/North River/lake Tuscaloosa / Northport make up a pretty awesome area.
Downtown Tuscaloosa is going through a revitalization and soon enough all of the Auburn fans shitting on TTown here will be drowned out by other visiting fans giving Tuscaloosa compliments.
Oxford is great to visit to me. But it is so small that I feel I would go a little crazy, if I was there long term.
Athens is tops.
Auburn is kind of like Oxford but has zero charm. There is nothing remarkable about the town. Has nothing but an intersection and the campus which is pretty bland.
Knoxville has everything to be better. It is like the creative fun types that are form the area all go to Nashville.
Never been to Fayetteville, but I have heard good things.

Of course it will.
The only thing most of these kids know about B/CS is what they've read while window-licking on ShaggyBeeve.
B/CS is a great college town.
The more I visit other places, the more clear that fact has become.
