Mizzou beat South Carolina by 14 and made Spurrier quit. We are not the worst team in the SEC.

bottom half of the SEC is certainly making the conference look bad, should the bottom 50% all fire their coach and try to get it right, I mean to help the status of the conference overall?

It's a power ranking. How do people continue to not realize this?
Since we lost to Mizzou we have improved. Since Mizzou beat us, they have gotten worse.

No South Carolina has not gotten better......Mizzou has not gotten worse. Mizzou continues to be the same team. We just played better defenses/teams.
Scoring Defense- Vandy T-13th, Florida 19th, Ga 27th
Total Defense- Georgia 15th, Fla 18th, Vandy 22nd
It is a power ranking and we beat the crap out of South Carolina. Mizzou lost close games to Florida (pick 6 made it look bigger) and Georgia by 3 points on the road.

My deepest sympathies go out to Mizzou. Losing to Vanderbilt is an embarrassment not easily resolved.

Florida has a better record vs common opponents than Bama. Our best win is better than their best win. Our loss more respectable than their loss.
So the real question mister NC14 isn't how is Florida so close to you, it is what morons actually put Bama above Florida. Preseason bias, and nothing more.
