So this is how rivals act?

I wish we had a rival

Sheek is right. This used to be such a storied rivalry. Now the Vols fans bring up fricking basketball and baseball. It's like we are playing Vanderbilt or something. The Vols should do themselves a favor and not score first in this game. That will just piss Bama off.

You should've heard the Clemsux fans this offseason after we waxed that arse 2 years in a row. You'd have thought they were all fricking historians or something, and talking about beating us in basketball and... wait for it... baseball. fricking

Reading comprehension problems? I was not the one who brought it up. MsGarriosn and NBamaAlum did.

Re-numbering your stadium to stay ahead of your rival in the only way you know how... priceless.

Yeah, just made the seats smaller.

After sitting in Florida's narrow arse seats this year, I decided that the only way I am going back to the Swamp or to Neyland is to buy 2 seats so I can at least be comfortable.

We did not re-number our stadium, we just count players and refs in our attendance now.

Obviously we made the seats smaller when we were rolling. That had nothing to do with Bama, that was all about the $$$. Our last capacity change (10) was obviously to stay ahead of Bama, but we did nothing to our seat size then.

You renumbered the seats and made them smaller.

Fact.

Not recently. When we did it, it had nothing to do with Bama.

The elastic Neyland Stadium
quote:

Before the start of the 2010 season, UT added about 1,800 seats to what is called the west side terrace. Simply adding that to last year’s listed capacity would give UT a 101,811 capacity, or 10 shy of Bryant-Denny’s new capacity.

Bud Ford, spokesman for UT athletics, said the plan all along was to switch Neyland’s official capacity from “seating capacity” to “stadium capacity” when the five-year renovation project was finished. A stadium capacity includes every person in the stadium from souvenir and concession workers to ushers and security, whereas a seating capacity list just that, the number of seats in a stadium. The change was not done to ensure Neyland stayed larger than Bryant-Denny, Ford said.

Nothing to do with BDS.... RIIIIIGHT.

I already acknowledged the 2010 change was done to pass Bama, that had nothing to do with re-numbering seats. We have not re-numbered our seats in about 20 years. When we did, it had nothing to do with Bama. This is the third time I've said this.

Neyland was quite a bit larger than BDS when we re-numbered the seats.

Spoken like a TRUE Classless Bammy ALUM! Have you been to a Wallymart in AL lately? You'll find some fine AL specimens there. Let me guess, you were an English major at AL...your vocabulary is typical of a graduate of the Redneck School of Correspondence. Why don't you camp out at the feet of the Saybear statue so you will feel at home looking up.
