I believe that's 2 4th place votes. I'm assuming 2 voters have:

1. Bama
2. Ole Miss
3. Tennessee
4. A&M

Some people had UF above LSU last week and now have LSU above UF (not sure how else they could have switched). They did not play. I would call that bias unless voters are basing it off of the games played by their previous opponents or voters rewatched some games and felt differently.

The fun in the graph is looking at the fringe vote, like the ones that voted UT 8-9 and trying to figure out who's butthurt.

The answer to that is nobody. Auburn and Tennessee have nearly identical colors, and a quick check shows me that those two votes are Auburn.

100% sure it's Georgia fans. Some of them have become insufferable crybabies lately. Ole Miss fans probably voted the same way, but that's my fault.

Which makes no sense for anyone with half a brain to vote Auburn 9th.

We have a large enough sample size with our voters that when someone goes lower or higher than the mean, it tends to balance out. It's rare to have an outlying vote change a ranking, and when it does, we remove that vote. There is also discussion among the voters - they are held accountable by each other, and healthy conversation happens each week as they explain their reasoning. They don't have to agree, that's the beauty of the sample size.

I'm not disagreeing with the overall rankings, but a few outliers that a) are dumber than a bag of rocks and b) give the rest of us something to argue about.

Is it 2 voters from each fanbase?

We're here to serve.

Each fanbase has at least 2 voters. We have a few more than 28 total so that we ensure a large enough sample size each week in case someone forgets or has conflicts and can't vote one week. Each team is always represented.

Pretty sure that's Auburn orange, not Tennessee orange.

ETA: Totally missed CNB's immediate response saying the same thing.

Crazy enough, that has no impact on this year's rankings.
