Welcome to the Official SC HC Prediction Thread. With the departure of the HBC, Spurrier, SC is looking for a new HC.

This thread is the official prediction thread, so feel free to make your pick on who will be selected.

RULES:
- Pick the person you believe will be selected as the next HC for the SC Football Team.
- Don't forget to pick the tie breakers as well. There can be only one (winner.)
- All predictions must be in by November 1, 2015, all official predictions are locked after that point.

TIE BREAKERS:
1. Predict the Year 1 Salary of the new HC.
2. Predict 3 Asst Coaches that will be on the new HC's staff.
3. Pick the sum of the total salary for the Assistant Coaches on staff.
4. If there is still a tie at this point I will actually pick a name of the winner from a hat.

(i.e.
HC Kirby Smart
1. $3.5M
2. Scott Cochran, Billy Napier, and Tosh Lupoi
3. $5M )

POSSIBLE CANDIDATES FOR THE HC POSITION (but your pick doesn't have to be one of these guys, if you're an Auburn fan, feel free to pick Nick Saban.)

Not to derail this thread or stir up trouble, but would Lane Kiffin be a serious contender for this position or has he not earned enough trust yet to be mature enough for a HC position?

I can't speak with complete certainty on the situation, but IMO, I highly doubt we would even interview Lane. He may not have the slightest interest in us as well. I would put him getting the job at 1/100th of 1%.

Agreed. Chad Morris would be a solid hire, too.

Yes, they are free to predict a name that wasn't listed under the possible candidates.

I think Fedora wants out of UNC. So I'll say Fedora for 3.2 million and he'll bring Lawing back to be DC at 800K

Fedora for 3.2
Lawing as DC for 800k
Beamer as RC for 500k

Many of those coaches are from Big 12 schools. You aren't going to get the guy who wants to go to a more difficult conference (at least defensively) because they have it made playing video game football in the Big 12. You could get a look at Pat Fitzgerald from Northwestern. But currently they are on a 2-game blowout streak. They start 5-0 and for the second time in three years, they get rolled in one game and it starts a domino effect. I don't know what that stems from. You would think they'd want to play every week because they could still make a decent bowl game. I mean at Northwestern you can't possibly be disappointed in a two game losing streak. This isn't Bama where one loss may only get you into the CFP and not handed the trophy.
