Obviously you aren't familiar with the song. He won't get to the lake of fire until after he dies.

Dinardo wasn't that bad. He actually began the process of turning LSU around.

what have we here? One of those extremely rare LSU fans that acknowledge the existence of college football prior to 2003?

I give your troll attempt a 8/10. This is how you fish the Rant. Well done.

My freshman year at LSU was the year Curley went 2-9. I promise you've I've already drank all I'm ever going to drink in Curley's honor. And not by the glass. More like by the fifth.

Cool story: someone gave my baby girl a LSU piggy bank. It's a pig with LSU's logo and "Born to be a Tiger". After much consideration, I decided to name the pig "Curley". "Tuscaloosa" just didn't sound right. After we put whatever loose change I have in the pig, he flies home to his shelf high up in her room. So "Curley" has a place of honor in my house for his one and only moment of triumph. It seemed appropriate on so many levels.

Started school at LSU in 95. We were excited as hell to make the Independence Bowl that year after 6 straight losing seasons.

Yup. Auburn '95. The day the Magic reenergized Tiger Stadium. I was there. I seent it. First time in 15 years that LSU was able to wear white jerseys in a home game. And it took an interception in the end zone on the final play to seal the victory.

Yup. DiNardo got the party started. Tepper was his undoing. But DiNardo got the team and the fans to believe in ourselves again. It started with that Auburn game in '95 and peaked with the win over Florida in '97. It was a helluva fun ride relative to the pits of hell under Curley.

frick you.
I was a junior at LSU when Hallman got hired. I remember these damn "Crazy 'Bout Curley" bumper stickers being all over town...until we got curbstomped by Georgia in his first game. That was a miserable viewing experience.
Curley was the brilliant recruiter and talent evaluator who wanted Marshall Faulk to play in the secondary at LSU.
