frick those guys. The Saints fans I know, that I grew up with, etc., they might not like a player, but I have never heard one of them rejoice when one fails. Usually it's "See, that's what I'm talking about." type bullshite. I believe most fans are guilty of it. Myself included. Did I get mad at Ingram for fumbling against the Seahawks in the playoffs? yeah, but I wasnt happy.

I want them all to do well.

Ingram didn't have the IB performance that Henry had but Ingram had a good game against the best team of that era the Florida Gators.
Who was the other outstanding candidate for 2009?

Having a weak pool of candidates that year is a great point. Hence Ingram's Heisman trophy.

At the same time, that's still a 1st Rd pick, a 3rd Rd pick, and a 4th Rd pick on that OL.

Vlachos was barely 6 foot, and Drew Davis made it known he had no interest in the NFL.

Never claimed he was the Heisman winner that Henry was but Ingram did have a more difficult schedule with a unproven offensive line that had to improve from week to week.

Ingram carried Alabama to the win over #7 Va Tech in the opener that season and he was banged up for next 3 weeks because of that game against a top-tier Bud Foster defense so his Heisman run didn't really get going until week 5.

Fk all y'all mark haters. Y'all ain't true saints fans and don't understand football. Look if we would of used him as a every down back he would of wear the defenses down out by the end of the third-quarter but the Saints didn't use Mark like they should of and that's why he been playing for 6 years so fk y'all

That Oline wasn't that great in the opener but I will say it was the most improved Oline from Week 1 to SEC Champ week I've seen in the Saban era.

Just wanted to share this with all of the Ingram haters on this and the Saints board.

Mark Ingram is #14 in rushing yards on 185 carries.

#16 is Todd Gurley who has 95 less yards than Ingram on 79 more carries.

#17 is Jeremy Hill who has 109 less yards than Ingram on 30 more carries.

As a matter of fact, Mark Ingram has more rushing yards than any NFL running back who played in the SEC.

Merry Christmas

I remember Bama couldn't do shite against South Carolina, so they decided to just run Ingram in the wildcat. Drove it right down the field for a td. He won the Heisman in the closest vote in the history of the trophy, but he won it just the same. He sure is in his share Heisman House commercials, also.

No written message, just a visual to remind about one small element in the Heisman. (Of course some fans of LSU will probably claim they see at least three Alabama players guilty of holding....)

Would be the first Saints RB in a decade to accomplish that

Well, Mark has been the featured back for more than HALF of that decade; so did it take a group of monkeys working around the clock to come up with that stat or are you dumb?

If he is so terrible, why do they keep him around? hmm..

Leonard Fournette just needs 157 yards to join an elite group of SEC backs with three 1,000 yard seasons. He should get that easily against Louisville...right?
