7-5 losses to LSU, Bama, MSU, Clemson, UGA. Upset win over Arky because I just cant see them losing all 6 games.

I didn't read all of that, but I took it to mean I accidentally counted USCe and that polls change. If that was the point, then I agree. However, AU has the 2nd toughest schedule in the conference as it looks right now. Alabama might end up being awful and weaken our schedule, but I just go by what I know right now.

Same here, that's why I put my prediction as a scenario. To me it's hard to just throw out numbers and let it stick.

Installing a totally new offense. You have a new DC and 1st year starter at QB.

7-5

Yep just like firing Ted Roof and hiring Van Gorder always means you automatically get better.

I doubt you'll find many who would argue that just by firing ted roof our defense didnt' get better, regardless of who we hired.

No way 10-2.

I'll have a better feel for this team after the opener.

But based on what little is known:

Sure wins: ULM, Ole [del]Nutt[/del] Freeze, Vandy, NMSU, AAMU
Certain losses: LSU, Bama
Tossups: Clemson, MSU, Arky, TAMU, UGa

This is the time of year where I'm reasonably optimistic, so I'll say we beat CU and split the other four, which puts us at 8-4 (5-4)* on the season.

Not a lot of improvement on paper, but showing some real competitiveness on the field in the four losses as compared to rolling over like in '11. I'd be okay with that (moreso if one of the tossup wins was against UGa).

I agree that we should be legit in '13.

(* I had initially planned on making some lame arse joke about having three solid non-conference wins, if we beat CU, TAMU and Arky, but I thought better of it)

i like the way you think... for me, best case senario is 10-2... worst case 6-6.

way too much uncertainty with this team, and a tough opening stretch.
