So when Smith and Arkansas lose to Bama by 30 in Week 3, do you think these Arkansas fans will still be arguing it was a good hire and only for the interim?

Better than a coach who has shown he isn't capable of allowing his players to win a game for him. He actively fricked his game management....This is as bad as us hiring someone like Derek Dooley to be interim it's a shitty idea and will for sure cost us wins.

Yeah, I think it is way too late for you guys to go out and find a guy to coach this team to their potential. I think if you guys found someone else, it wouldn't have gone well for you guys next year. Same personnel Petrino would have had going into next season... Just keep the offense rolling the same way and you guys will be alright... 10-2 IMHO

Oh well. Who needs 2013 or 2014 recruits anyway, amirite guys? Interim basis, surely this will end extremely well. Those kids that we're going to sign in 2013 don't really care who our coach will be. Nope. Couldn't care less. And those 2014 guys? Well, Starkville, even though LSU, Texas, OU, Bama, Bama, etc will have a good 2-3 year relationship established, we'll surely be able to sweep in and grab an excellent class once we hire someone.
