As a lifelong Gamecock fan I have so many to choose from but one in particular does stand out.
I guess it was 1997 we were a #2 seed and a darkhorse to win it all in the NCAA basketball tourney.
A #15 seed Coppin st kicked our arse. That game hurt. The very next year we lost again in the first round as a #3 seed to Richmond. Those games hurt

Beating #1 Alabama at Legion Field then losing every game the rest of the season.

05 Tennessee game.
By the 4th, the emotional toll had finally set in for us and the players.
I still view that 05 season as one of the greatest coaching jobs ever performed in history, and still hold that only Les Miles could have pulled it off.
I'm going to miss the Mad Hatter.

-Worst feeling I've ever had as a fan. Lasted weeks. Total devastation. I was a junior.
