I just took it for granted that Crimson Tide fans would be united in the Harvey updyke/ poisoned trees as the saddest moment...perhaps I was wrong

I was sadder when I saw how much money people donated in the aftermath.

I not think ill feel worse as an Alabama fan as when Tennessee scored after converting the 4th down in the 5th OT.

UGA, braves, and Falcons have all come close but haven't won it all in a while. The curse is the Indian's revenge since we kicked them out way back when.

One of the saddest days was losing this guy to cancer last year:

11/19/11 is probably the most disgusted I've been as a fan, but, as someone under 30, there have been only like 3-4 great Ole Miss teams, and, even then, Ole Miss will snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. WAOM

1. Letting the rapist have too much time on their last drive in the NC 2013 game

2. Watching the final BCS poll revealed in 2004 and seeing Auburn have to go the Orange Bowl

3. Watching Gus blindside us out of nowhere in 2006 and costing us a chance to beat UF again and play for the NC

Oklahoma's fake punt in Braynt Denny in 2003. After everything that was going on with the coaching situation. Bama was in that game with a chance to win and the fake punt gave OU all the momentum. It was as if all the air was pulled from the stadium. 2000-2006 were just sad years to be a Bama fan in general.

For me it was watching the effort the team put out in 2012 after the loss to LSU. Never been ashamed to be an Auburn fan like I was that season. I can handle losses, unfulfilled expectations, etc...but guys not playing hard and literally quitting was more than I could bare.

FYI we went to the Sugar Bowl in 2004.

This game is one of the few times I pulled for Auburn. That rapist and cheating SOB jimbo deserved to get their shite pushed in.

2012 after the loss to LSU.

I went to that game. Paid $15 for a pair of tickets on the 50 yard line. It turned into a better game than I expected.

1/9/12 was hands down my worst moment as an LSU fan. Yeldon's screen the next year was like having an ex lead you on for a year and then start dating your best friend. It was over after that and I've been numb ever since.

Les miles being too stubborn to evolve in his offensive thinking. He was a great ambassador for lsu a great guy and a great recruiter. If only he would have chosen to adapt to the new age of offenses in college and not be so dang stubborn. O well

Two sad moments that resonate with me as an Ole Miss fan:
10/28/89 - date of Chucky's injury.
05/06/91 - date of Chucky's death.

Not just the LSU fanbase either, tough loss for a lot of CFB fans.

Saw video of the big guy, he was something special.

I'll skip the obvious because I was in grade school when it happened and didn't become aware of it until years later.

But it's sad that it defines the school. My Alma Mater has one of the best Fine Art Schools in the country (#2 behind Yale when I was there), world class business and theology schools, a Nobel Laureate in Physics as a graduate, the best collection of Spanish Art in the world outside of Spain, a Gutenberg Bible, a Presidential Library, and one of the most beautiful campus's you could ever hope to lay your eyes on. Even has a Heisman Trophy winner and a national champion in Football.

But tell someone you went to SMU and the first thing they mention is the Death Penalty. As a graduate, that's genuinely heartbreaking.
