Yeah but you didn't post the mode either. That's the one that tells the real story.

Did you also re-watch all the games and factor in the penalties that weren't called?
If you didn't, you've got a new research project.

Hell, that's easy.
Just look at the game summary and see how many offensive snaps Bama had. If I've learned anything from tRant, it is that Bama holds on every play.

Good point. Here are a couple Ritter missed.

That would be a time saver with little to no loss in accuracy. Increase efficiency exponentially. Maintain accuracy. Profit. You must be quite the savvy business man.

Tom Ritter hates Alabama. What an arsehole.

I'll be here all week. I'm personally of the opinion that across the board holding just isn't called. It was one of the only constants for us this year. Both for and against us.

I agree. Someone said upthread that it is like traveling in the NBA and they're right.

In addition to the OP, here is more info on Ritter and his connections to Bama.
examines his company, their ties to Bama, ritter's family ties to Bama, etc.

WTF is Jarran Reed doing there? His best Gator impression?

Maybe he was....but the AU Oline was not only mugging the Bama dline, but the Bama Lbers as well.
No holds were called, also no hands to the face calls were made and there were at least 2 PI calls that were not called against the AU secondary.
Everyone knows that when you play at AU that AU will get all the calls in their favor.

but it's a fact your RT was tackling Lawson all game. It killed his impact.

Snake Coker kinda got a ring to it. dont drag him into this shite I kinda like the kid.
I'd like to see stats from the SEC office on which crews had the most bs plays submitted after games. IDGAF about conspiracy but I will say that Austin, Wagers and Ritter's crews all suck and should be fired on merit alone. I'd bet a dollar to a donught those 3 get exponentially more complaints from ALL the coaches just because they are terrible refs. you will even find Bama fans bitching about them when they arent too busy crying about their grass being wet.

Yea, Ritter's crew sucks.
I mean, did everyone forget the Ole Miss game? That was Ritter's crew. They blew the man downfield and they overturned 2 huge calls (rightly I think, but still) on the sack fumble and the illegal pass downfield.

That's the real answer. SEC refs are just bad and when your team loses - particularly in close or rivalry games - fans look for reasons other than 'we just got beat'. Officiating is an easy target and, unfortunately, mistakes are easy to find.
And you're right, we all do it. Bama fans bitch about clearly missed illegal men downfield calls that gave our opponents touchdowns but don't mind a clearly missed facemask call that gave us one.

The thing that nobody wants to talk about is that these SEC Referee crews are graded each and every week, and that's typically what determines what games they get to call.
Ritter's crew gets the majority of the "big games" because his crew is considered the #1 SEC crew in terms of grading.
I'd be interested in seeing an inside look at that and how it works.
