Ala. fans - in case you're interested, the reason the rest of us think you're retarded idiots is b/c you pathetically build up your own sense of self-worth based upon the (puffed-up) accomplishments of "your team." I mean, I'm a huge LSU fan (and alum) -- I admit the Tigers were very fortunate to win the 2007 NC, being a 2 loss team and all. Alabama was very fortunate to even get a slot in the NCG last year, considering it finished third in the SEC. LSU was "rewarded" for beating Ala. at Ala. by having to play an extra game, risk injuries, and allow Ala. to gain extra scouting footage, while Ala. got to rest. Fair? No. Very fortunate? Yes. But hey that's the way it played out for Ala., they took advantage, just like LSU took advantage in 2007. But you won't hear that from an Ala. fan. You'll hear it was "restoring order." Right. (LSU 9-3 since 2000.) You'll hear puffed up claims of "14 NCs" which everyone knows is BS. I mean, hell, how many SEC championships has Ala. won? I'm assuming it's a shitload and probably a lot more than LSU -- now THAT is impressive and not puffery.
