LSU is coming off getting our asses handed to us 80 miles from the campus in the BCS title. We will be just a tad hungry and I doubt North Texas is going to fill us up. Washington fan, it's going to get ugly. We don't need a QB to hit the broadside of a barn to beat you by 20+. If Mett sucks, we will line up and pound it down your throat with our veteran online and 6 horse stable of RB's. Your offense will have to be on it's A Game against our veteran defense that finished #2. We also aren't too bad on ST.

You have your work cut out for you. Decent shot is a bit much. Anything can happen, but I wouldn't put money on Washington even meet the spread.

Sugar-Face Arkansas coming off of back to back ten win seasons the last time that happened at Washington was ?

Well it would be the late 90s/early 2000s but back then most teams played 11-12 games (including bowl) not 13-14 like now. We did have the three straight Rose Bowls in 91, 92, and 93. Definitely had back-to-back 10 win seasons then.

8/9 wins in the 90s= 10/11 wins today.

Not saying I "expect" to win... just saying we having a decent shot. With one of the best QBs in the nation I think we will score points... the question is will our d-line improve from last year? Will our new 4/5 star DB recruits come in and start and make an instant impact? Maybe, maybe not. If our defense isn't up to par then yes it could be a long day... but I am much more confident in Justin Wilcox, Tosh Lupoi and Peter Sirmon than I was with Nick Holt and Company.

None of the Bowl Games Matter except for the Rose and/or NCG for any Pac-12/Big-10 team... the rest are meaningless moral victories.

I guess you are the 10% that beat your chest about minor bowl games. We should raise our 2010 Holiday Bowl Championship Banner at the New Husky Stadium. Using your logic... Oregon State>99 Percent of programs... look at their bowl record in minor bowls.

I too would marginalize Bowl games If we got hammered 69% of the time. I would deem them meaningless in so far as how they relate to a team performs beyond it's enviroment

Well we are 15-14-1 in Bowl Games... don't understand how that is 69% of the time... but ok.

I am an avid Arkansas hater and I'd have them beating Washington 48-17

We will see... our defense really really needs to improve. We got rid of the entire defensive staff from last year and now have Justin Wilcox, Peter Sirmon and Tosh Lupoi. How much of an impact will they make? We'll see... but so far so good in picking up the #1 DB in this years recruiting class (Shaq Thompson).

I'd worry about your offense improving. They have players on defense that DO NOT exist outside of the SEC. I wish your offensive guru luck throwing the ball....You will not run it.

Geno Smith threw for 463 Yards against them, yes some were in garbage time but not most... that was a close game until very late in the 3rd quarter. Keith Price is on the same level as Smith. If WVU doesn't turn it over 4 times, they win that game.

LSU caused these turnovers. I'm not in the business of defending the Tigahs, but come on.

I'll be watching!
