Just got back from Nevada and picked up a CFB futures sheet. Was very suprised to see USC as the heavy favorite.
Odds to win BCS Title from Caesers Entertainment as of 2/13/12 (listed SEC schools first for this board):

50/1 on Clemson would be a rough ride... haven't looked at their schedule but I could just see the OMGFAIL moment round about week 9 or 10...

Vegas is weekend warrior central for LA/SD & SF, Phoe,etc..folks. Much like Destin/Redneck Riviera is to SEC fans. Anytime USC Foots or UCLA/Az Hoops has a legit top contender, or Cali/West Coast SuperBowl favored team, their LV-based odds are gonna be super ridiculously low.
