I'm reading two take aways from game from these boards:

1. A&M's defense is pourous and will hold them back this year
2. Alabama's defense is pourous and will hold them back this year.

How can #1 play #6 and both teams come out looking bad?

For the best football fans in the world yall seem to hate touchdowns an awful lot.

It's all about how many pages their threads can accumulate. They care nothing about quality football conversation.

While it's not a good look, I guarantee the game yesterday had most teams around the country not wanting to play either team.

Legacy - our offense could be off the charts awesome... but I see a LOT of A&M games with an over/under of 80 or more this year because every decent team will be a shootout.

SEC is used to great dominating defenses, without that we are just like everyone else

My takeaways:

1. Bama's offense is awesome. Where are the oline haters now?
2. Texas A&M offense is beastly as well.
3. Bama just had one more bullet in its gun in an epic shoot out.
4. Haters are gonna hate. Especially haters whose team has accomplished nothing of note so far this season.

Looked like a Wednesday night WAC ballgame. Downright embarrassing.

Yeah, I feel worse about our chances vs both teams after seeing y'all play yesterday. I was thinking UGA would be a tougher game than A&M, now I'm not so sure. I do know that LSU will have 3 very good opponents in A&M, Bama, and UGA

LSU will hold both of them to a combined 24 points.

We don't have a shut down corner like we have had in the past so that hurts what we can do on defense some. But if you think there is going to be a Mike Evans who can account for 279 receiving yards from a QB who can scramble around for 10 seconds then punt the ball for a reception every time then you are going to be very sadly mistaken.

Ole Miss has the WRs but not the QB, Oregon has the QB but not the big dominant WR, LSU can win but it will have to be in another way, cuz they aren't that same type of team.

The best way to fix the defense over the next 2 games before the bye is to FIX THE DEFENSE against two mediocre teams.

1. Sit Donnie Baggs and Clay Honeycutt.

2. Move Julien Obioha back to SDE

3. Play more Shaan Washington (33) and Darion Claiborne (48)

4. Pull the redshirt off Justin Manning and Victor Davis

Top two or three teams. SEC fans have always over estimated the middle and bottom of the pack.

This^^^^

We like when our team scores TD's.........But get just as much or more enjoyment when our team lays the wood on the opposing teams offense.

Summary: SEC fans like winning but love whipping some azz in the "process."

The game was pretty exciting IMO. I'm not so sure I'd say bama has an epic offense more than I'd say A&Ms defense is just bad.

A&Ms defense would've given up 80 to manziel and Evans.
If A&M had a defense close to Bamas D, they would've won easily from what I saw.

Too much hate and not enough love. It was a wonderful game played by two very stellar teams. Fun to watch.

They should have ran TCU in the ground. If I was coaching that offense in that game LSU would have won by 21.

If there's one thing you should have taken away from these boards in the wake of the game, this is it.
