Bama will almost certainly be ranked higher than LSU on October 20th and Tennessee is still a bigger deal nationally than Texas A&M is. Put both games on at the same time and the Bama-Tennessee game would lap the LSU-Texas A&M game in total viewership numbers.

I dont think so. With UT possibly losing this week, yalls game just doesnt appeal to other people besides your 2 fanbases.

Bama would be the reason. #1 ranked team is going to attract some viewers.

Why not put UGA-UK at 11 on ESPN instead of one of the held games? Then you get CBS and two night games with the three held?

Seriously doubt it.

Because that just makes too much sense...

if you have 2 great games that you expect to get great ratings, you think it makes more sense to put them head to head rather than spread them throughout the day?

If LSU wins, expect LSU/A&M to be the night game.

You have it backwards.

IF LSU wins:
Bama - UT 11:00am
LSU - A&M 2:30
USCe - UF 6:45

IF LSU loses:

LSU - A&M 11:00 am
USCe - UF 2:30
Bama - UT 6:45

Because you want your three biggest games at three different time slots. That is the way to maximize viewership and $$.

LSU,

Please don't make us play the 11:00 game at Kyle. That would suck. We'll do our part by beating a ranked La Tech team on the road. Could you please do your part and beat a ranked SC team at home? Please and thank you.

Signed,
Aggies everywhere

A&m is not a big draw nationally. This will be at 11

All you Aggie fans just don't get it if you are pulling to have the 2:30 or 6 o'clock game. If you want a better chance at beating lsu, then you want a team going on the road and having the 11 o'clock game because the road team always struggles in that early game slot

More people watched A&M vs Florida than any other game in the country on week two (A&M's opening day). A&M can pull viewers, but LSU needs to not be coming off of two straight losses.

You sure about that? Seems like it is harder to win on the road at night, but I haven't done any research on that.

As much as some other fan bases hate to admit it, Bama is a much bigger draw nationally than other teams in the conference. A choice b/w TSIO and LSU/aTm is not much of a choice for a TV exec, really.
