Last time A&M was on CBS it was the highest rated game in 20+ years.
Too bad for Auburn it will be over by halftime.

you're aware the league office has nothing to do with this, right?

Boom!
Not sure that's a good thing for Au. Having the national game and getting thrashed by TAMU @50-30ish type game.

What order do the networks select after the first CBS game?
Certainly that 2nd CBS game at 11 wasn't pick #2.
But thank goodness it wasn't Bama picked there, I don't want Tim Brando covering Alabama games any sooner than I have to.

How pissed are ESPN and CBS going to be this Saturday night if the unthinkable happens and Mizzou beats an injury depleted UGA and Florida beats LSU? Has Jefferson Pilot ever had a 5-1 vs 6-0, both teams in the top 15, both teams undefeated in conference play matchup before? I can't imagine so.
I'm sure it's never happened. It truly would be the "SEC Game of the Week"

Does ESPN own whatever network the JP (11:21 am) game comes on now?
The SECTV took the place of Jefferson Pilot. SEC hasn't had a Jefferson Pilot/Raycom Sports game since 2008. SECTV is part of the ESPN Network.

Whether you like him or not, JFF contributes to drawing some really high TV ratings which is good for the SEC.
If A&M and LSU can keep winning, expect that game to be hyped by the networks also.

Interesting regarding Georgia-Vandy. I don't recall many SEC games being on CBS that early in the day.

They usually have one once a year or so. I know our two games against Tennessee in 2009 and 2010 were 11am CBS kickoffs.

Thanks. Can't believe I would have noticed it more.

They are usually announcers that I can't ever remember the names of. It's definitely not Verne and Gary.
Is this a first for CBS going to Vanderbilt?
