Chavis might know how, but our D line stinks and our MLB leaves gaping holes.
Unless something drastic changes, Nick Marshall WILL get 100+ on the ground.

Our RBs are responsible for about 70% of our rushing.

Throw out all the cupcakes and see how they did against legitimate teams. Auburn had 300 yards passing against Arkansas and 230 yards passing against Kansas State. LSU did nothing against Moo State either rushing or passing until the game had already basically been decided

You are WAY too defensive.
Auburn is NOT a passing team. IT IS OK, but for being a running team, AU is on par with Miss State and Ark is clearly the best running team in the conference "right now".
Harris is legit. LSU had open guys vs Miss State and Jennings was throwing balls in the dirt.
I don't think many LSU fans think our Freshman QB will win on the road vs/AU, but objectively, AU's O is average right now.

We do have 3 games already of 215 yards passing or more.

That is a scary thought, isn't it.

Homer pick LSU 34-28
Realist pick Auburn 45 LSU 21

It is honestly. Its not clicking on all cylinders that is for sure.
Some people take offense to that, but the reality is, its not up to snuff considering who all came back plus the talent there.

I am not defensive. I just laugh at corndogs like you who want to claim LSU has some awesome team based on what you did against Sam Houston State, New Mexico State, or Louisiana Monroe
LSU has played two decent teams and really didn't do anything that consistently well in either game. You hit a few long passes against Wisconsin, but Jennings was still only 9-21 and Harris look too frightened to even take a snap in that game

Gus admits it takes him about 3 or 4 games to figure out all his moving parts.
2010...it USC when we finally clicked. 2013, it was Ole Miss.

quote:Yeah, on one less game.
RB--Advantage LSU. Auburn's leading rusher, Artis-Payne, has only 100 yards more than Fournette.
CAP - 117 yards per game
LF - 64 yards per game
quote:Again, on one less game.
Corey Grant has a whopping 212 yards on the season putting him behind Kenny Hilliard and nearly tied with our "other" frosh tailback, D-Willy.
CG - 54 ypg
KH - 60 ypg
DW - 41 ypg
quote:
Our 4 guys are better than there 4 guys plain and simple.
quote:yeah, lol at the guy with more INTs than anyone on LSU's roster
lol at Travon Reed.
quote:Auburn leads the entire country in punt return average @ 30.7 yards per return. Lsu is averaged a measly 8.5 yards a return.
Special Teams--Wash.
Oh yeah, and Auburn has scored two TDs off punt returns to LSUs zero.
quote:And Corey Grant is averaging 28 yards per return.
Fournette has returned every kick so far this season and averages 24 yards per return.

Auburn's O isn't average by any reasonable standard. It is below some expectations for Auburn, which were basically "record setting."
I think LSU will play pretty well. Based on what I've seen I think we're 10 points better in a decently played game, but I don't have a ton of confidence we'll win in that manner.
I do think it's a tall task for LSU to beat Auburn in Auburn at night, but it's certainly not impossible.

I never said neither. You can count on 1 hand how many objective LSU fans think we will win this game. Its a long shot at best.

Jennings had 3 snaps vs Wisconsin and looked fine vs Miss State.

The only thing I will say is LF averages 11 touches a game. CAP gets 22. About even if you ask me.

Special Teams--Wash.Both teams have done very well in both the kicking and punting game in both coverage and returns. Daniel Carlson does it all for Auburn while Colby Delahouysse has been very reliable for LSU. Fournette has returned every kick so far this season and averages 24 yards per return.
Quan Bray leads the nation in punt returns by 10 yards a return.
