RB--Advantage LSU. Auburn's leading rusher, Artis-Payne, has only 100 yards more than Fournette. Corey Grant has a whopping 212 yards on the season putting him behind Kenny Hilliard and nearly tied with our "other" frosh tailback, D-Willy. Our 4 guys are better than there 4 guys plain and simple.

Cute.

LSU is averaging 2 more carries a game than AU but is rushing for 34 fewer yards a game.

Just bc I think Harris will do well doesn't mean I'm being bias. I admitted its a big question and his play will be one of if not the biggest factor in the game.

Nick Marshall is a QB.. So yea, with regards to RB's his numbers are right.

Dude y'alls running game so far this year has been underwhelming at best. And Nick Marshall isnt a RB. Even Auburn fans admit that.

True. But it doesn't take a miracle to outplay Marshal. He's definitely capable of having good games but it's always consistent. Harris might have himself a solid night negate this advantage, although QBs don't go against each other..

iiiiiidk. This should be RB/Oline vs Dline. Auburn should be able to pound the middle of LSU's defense. I see this as a push at the very least. Probably advantage Auburn...no?

WR--Advantage LSU

Uhm, yeah, probably correct. But Auburn doesn't usually need to have a big passing day to wax opponents. They could be more officiant, but Auburn's passing numbers won't look as "sexy" as some other teams, and don't need to. LSU's receivers are pretty damn good though, and getting better.

Gotta think the game will come down to what defense can make the opposing offense more one dimensional. Both teams have their bread and butter and will do everything they can to get the running game going. I think this favors Auburn and they win by 10.

And...if AU outrushes LSU by 90 yards, we will have more total rushing yards on the season having played one less game.

We lost by 5 points to a top 15 team.
Your objectivity here is also questionable
Anybody who watched the game knows Moo State manhandled LSU until Merlins took his foot off the gas at the end of the game

For all the talk among the rantards about Auburn being lucky against Kansas State, Auburn actually had about 70 yards more in total offense in that game

Ok hg.

State has outstanding OL play and they are simply crushing teams like MSU and Wisky.

Your front 7 on defense has been shutting down Big 5 conference teams.

The coaching from State has been superb and that staff has coached circles around its opponents.

Wait. None of those things are true.

What props do you expect? State has looked like thrash.

You giving any defensive edge to lsu is laughable.

Well since the OP ignored the "Objective" part, I figured I could ignore the rest.

Yep. if neither team can force the other's D to respect the pass and they start stacking the box, it will be ugly. I think LSU learned this the hard way against State as did auburn against K-state.

Really? I pretty sure we once again have the best CB tandem in the country with White and Robinson. Our safeties are elite as well. Over the last few years what has Auburn shown secondary wise that you would rate them higher than LSU?

But he was objective in most respects. Arkansas is out rushing Auburn as well as Miss State.

Auburn is 11th in the SEC in passing.

when the majority of those yards weren't gained by your running backs, yes. Chavis knows how to contain a mobile QB as do Rasco/Hunter and our secondary.
