Maybe he did, but when he didn't take the job he was accused by your ITAT sect that he was fishing for your NCAA issues.
He interviewed. He was never offered the job. There is a big difference in the two.

U know that for a fact as you were part of the process. I don't know it for a fact.

I know for 100% fact.

After the OU game, maybe. But don't flatter yourself. With the way the Iron Bowl played out, Alabama wins it 9/10 times in Auburn, and you know that. There was nothing to panic about. Miracles occasionally happen.

As do I. He was never a serious candidate.

Exactly. From what I was told, from somebody that would definitely know, he was not a great interview. He may not have wanted the job and that's why he went through the motions during the interview. I don't know about that. I do know he was interviewed and that was as far as it went.

Yeah, that's why Saban fought to put that 1 second back on the clock to risk a 57-yd field goal... because he thought he had a 90% chance of beating AU in Auburn in overtime.

He was interviewed to appease Pat Dye. Auburn was not going the direction of Kirby Smart. Sorry to disappoint you.

They can't stand the fact he wasn't offered our HC job.

Look, y'all got the right guy. But at least some of your fellow fans thought it was pretty serious. LINK

Do you ever stop to think about how stupid you appear when you make off-the-wall comments like that?
That 4th and 1 call led many an Alabama fan that I knew personally to throw Nuss under the proverbial bus.

I can see that you got a library of knowledge regarding college football.
I thought you were talking about assistants under Saban at bammer.
Most, if not all, of the ones you listed worked under other coaches as well. Kind of deflates your little balloon, Einstein.

Cooper does pretty well on screens, and getting talented players the ball in open space doesn't seem like such a bad idea. Especially with a new QB and how shitty auburn tackles.
