That is roughly what I look at when comparing classes.
.9400 or higher (usually winds up being just inside the top 150).
The hit rate on those kids just appears to be substantially better than low 4 star and 3 stars(duh)

Exactly. These are your 5 star and highly rated 4 star kids. Difference makers.

This is a part of it, for sure. But it's just as much about trying to be excellent and best in every corner of your program. Many of the kids that are impact players this year for UGA were not 150 players.
That includes Bennet, Kenny Mac, James Dumas Johnson, Ladd, Lassiter, Chris Smith, Javon Bullard, etc.

Seriously, all trolling aside, it's almost insane that third-place LSU and fourth-place Tennessee combined have the same number of Top 150 recruits as Georgia, and fewer than Alabama alone.

70 current NFL players and 11 just announced pro bowl selections is why they flock to Bama. This isn't that hard to understand, really.
