Skip was the all-time best

Trouble if it's fair

I don't believe it, he caught the ball!

That one was pulled in by a young fan from Vidalia, GA.

The bases are loaded, I wish I was too

But the best Skip was rain delay call in show Skip. He should have had a TV show.

This - IMO.

3 player deal and they didn't want to lose them all.

Mond, Marchiol, Ausbon IMG connection.

Those places should be outlawed. Kids don't go there to play high school.

And kids don't go to Bama for the benefits of the education.

Its all a sham, just nowadays its at every level instead of just the top.

Don't worry, one day helicopter parents and lawsuits will kill contact in the sport (thereby killing the sport) and we will all dream of the days when the worst thing about organized football was how it presented itself dishonestly.

I fully believe Sumlin chose Mond because he didn't want to lose a freshman commit, that being said I think it was a really, really poor choice. Stidham is going to be good, Mond looks like a huge project as a passer.

Might be the decision that gets Sumlin fired, especially if Mond starts this year, which I dont think he will...or at least right away.

because the Mond family was adamant about Mond being the only QB in the class

A&M signed 2 quarterbacks.

Kellen Mond and Connor Blumrick. Both early entrants.

Well I guess Mond's family was bitching about adding a third, and most importantly, a very polished and sound QB then.

If UH has success with Kyle Allen that will also get Sumlin fired.

Basically if anything goes wrong at this point we will pin it on Sumlin.

Given that, I would rather have the QB that would actually be around for the coach after Sumlin if things go south.

I miss Skip on the radio. I would love it back in the 80's when the Braves truly sucked and would be losing 12-2 in the 6th inning and Skip would say "Well, we're at the bottom of another fifth here at Fulton County Stadium." I actually liked listening to the blow out games when Skip and Don would just tell stories.

Early indications are that Allen is third string right now.

Physical potential is one thing. However, the latest rumors are that his arrogant attitude about how he used to start in the SEC West and thinks that just because of that he should be able to breeze through the American Conference Competition and therefore could slack off in practice.

Stidham chose to go to a program where he has a chance of actually winning something.

He'd be the first QB associated with Baylor to win at Kyle Field since 1984.
