Even with your superstar offense with Manziel you went 0-2 vs us. LSU is gonna be better on the Defensive side of the ball this year. And we will have growing pains on offense but will be a very good team.
Remember. We got to the national championship with Jordan Jefferson at QB.
You couldn't get there with Manziel.

That's if you go by the recent recruiting rankings anyway. Obviously not everyone pans out, makes it to campus because of grades etc or stays with the team for one reason or another... but it seems like a good best guess to start with IMO.

So why is it that any time something ole miss related is compared something aggie related, aggie fans freak out?
Sure makes a lot of ags look insecure

Good list.
For those ranking AU lower than 3rd or saying AU is not close to LSU, AU is the only team in the country besides FSU and Bama to have signed 5 straight top ten classes according to rivals. And the last two classes are mostly still intact and attrition has been light recently.

There is a bigger gap between AU at number 3 and atm at 4 than between AU and lsu as well.
Atm ahead of AU is somewhat comical.

Just averaged 24/7.
Atms ranking over the last 4 years is 16 and it is also 16 over the last 5 years.
AU is number 8 on average.
It isnt even close. And this year AU and AtM basically tied. Only once in 5 yrs has atm signed a higher ranked class. 2014 is a tie on 24/7.
Also, lsu is number 7 on average. Considering how manyjujuniors they had declare the past two years, I am not sure lsu currently has more talent than AU overall.

FWIW people who follow recruiting rankings understand it is an imperfect science and the rankings are probably not that different when considering teams that are similarly ranked.
But if you wanted to look at 24/7 to compare Auburn and LSU over the last four years the rankings would be:
LSU: 298+281+246+277 = 1102
Auburn: 276+252+259+275 = 1062
I probably should have ranked Auburn ahead of A&M in retrospect but A&M being ranked higher the last two years probably skewed my perspective more than it should have. I do like what A&M has done on the recruiting trail in general since their new coaching staff arrived.

Oh, deep down, you know exactly what it means
Regardless, A&M is not tied for overall talent with LSU
