Whoa. The guy is out of football ONE year and he has not been getting a ton of offers? That makes no sense.
His son's senior year of football. He has pretty much missed most of his HS games, coaching in Tenn and USC. He was getting paid to stay at home.
Now, if he was out of football for three to four years, I can understand your point.

honestly I never liked Chavis. Always thought he was a big pussy, ran weak schemes. kinda had that pedo vibe about him. he wont be missed. good fit for aggie tho.

Until LSU gets back to Championship form ON THE FIELD, I'm not going to get excited over any mediocre coaches being added to the staff.
