See the problem is the SEC is ESPN's cash cow. And to argue that these 2 teams weren't 2 of the best 4 teams, at the least, is pointless.
The Ducks finally came through in a big game, against the worst big X champ in 10 years. Not saying the ducks aren't fun to watch, but they need to play a little more hardnosed

Why do you think 45-38 is better football? I agree that the country outside of Alabama was disappointed LSU forgot to show up Monday night, but for argument sake let's say the score had been 21-17. Why is that worse football than a 45-38 track meet? I guess we could get out of the runners way and give up a 91 yard TD run up the middle, but we actually recruit linebackers and D lineman that know how to tackle and get off blocks. I will never understand why bad defense but great offense is considered the ultimate entertaining experience. Outside of this year 5 straight non SEC teams tried to out offense the SEC and they failed. Oregon could only score 19 points against what wasn't even one of the SEC's best defenses last year. Can you explain why that was? Where was your high flying can't be stopped attack that had play makers all over the field?
The truth is the rest of the country just wants to not see a SEC team in the title game, because they know they are going to stop a "great" offense. Bama was a top 20 or 30 offense in the country this year. Couple that with the #1 defense and you get the national champion. Couple the #1 offense with the #85 defense and you get your head coach breaking down a defensive game on TV and your fanbase bitching on the internet.

The only idiot on here I have seen on here is you! You keep repeating the same stupid bull shite over and over, and not answering the real questions asked of you. I have heard better arguments from 10 year olds. And again how does it feel to have your arse handed to you the first game of the season by what you call a kickball team? I guess the concept of defense is lost on you, but by your posts alot is lost on you. If you don't want to see a repeat of this years championship game get your coach to spend a little more time on fundamental football instead of sissy arse uniforms and maybe you wont get the shite beat out of you every time you play a SEC team.

Oregon will never win a national championship because you and all the other fans you mentioned like soft arse football, either team in the national championship would make Oregon's football program look like the YMCA. defense wins championships, offense wins games. the rest of the country is never gonna learn.

I have never witness anything like that on any level. ESPN and the talking heads thought this would be the best match up while the rest of the country was screaming OSU or Stanford! Who wants to see 2 teams from the same conference play over and over again? This joke by espn backfired and the country is saying " I told you so" We the people of the United States do not want to witness this bull shait ever again!! Is that freaking clear? !!!!

Everybody mouth is moving but no one here has the Balls or Guts to tackle the 2 games of kickball that was force down the country throats!! All you azz wipes keep referring to Oregon, Oregon and more Oregon! The board can't be full of all dummies. Are there people here that can explain why every Tom, Dick and Harry on this forum is running 4 cover on this kickball issue? Dude, will you listen to yourself? We wouldn't even be 'referring' to Oregon if they would not have been in the NC picture and a strong contender this year as well as most of this decade.
We are only seemingly insulting you and your team because you are trying to rationalize your opinion of "defensive games" as the opinion of EVERYONE, which it is not.
Why can't we have BOTH ?????? High-powered 45-38 games and defensive 10-7 games. I like both of them myself.
