I don’t know about the richer part but y’all definitely ain’t smarter! Y’all haven’t been relevant since ‘88. You may be racking your brain thinking, what the hell is he talking about!? I never seen a fan base travel for big games when the outcome of the game is known… Bama the last two times y’all have played, Clemson in ‘18, etc.
I don’t think I’ve ever gotten more satisfaction than sitting around y’all’s “rich” fans on the 50 yard line (10 rows up) at the Cotton Bowl. You sad saps just looked dumbfounded, like y’all walked in there with a chance.
The media gifts you most of your hype year in and year out. But make no mistake, since scholarship restrictions y’all have not been relevant.
