I have to call BS on that post. Notre Dame, and I am not fond of them, had a tough schedule, while Alabama had a weaker one. The game will be a good one, but I believe the real championshipgame will be played in Arizona.

The toughest teams ND played were Oklahoma, Stanford & Michigan. Are Oklahoma & Stanford tougher than LSU & TAMU? No. Is USC as good as UGA? No. The other Pitt's, BYU's, etc. are no better than OM's or MSU's. ND did NOT play a tougher schedule than Bama.

But Kelly keeps getting the W's. I personally feel Bama is going into a trap, Notre Dame and Kelly want the next game more. Bama is a 3 loss team this year lucking out in BR and of course losing to A&M at home. Looks like they will over achieve to be a one or two loss team. This game is reminding me a lot of Saban's last game at LSU.

Oh, really?

LSU > Stanford
TAMU > Oklahoma
UGA > USC
OM > BYU
MSU > Miami

Throw the other opponents in a bag & shake them up, but I'd still take UT over Navy, Mizzou over Purdue, etc.

Clearly at 12-0 ND doesn't suck but considering their struggles against some pretty crappy teams, I do think they are somewhat overrated. Regardless, I expect a competitive, low scoring, defensive struggle.

Good defenses keep games close even if they don't have an offense to go with it. Bama branded that concept. But now Bama has a very solid offense and can score on anybody. The Irish can not. That's the difference and it will be very clear in this game.

I'm torn on this one. Frick Bama. If the game was today, for the first time ever - I'd pull against the SEC. frick Bama.

I had more confidence going into the '09 & '11 Natty Title games. This Bama team isn't as good as those were, & ND seems to have luck on their side this year. Still, Bama is the better team & SHOULD win. But as we know, the better team doesn't always win.

This and as compared to our last two NC teams we are overrated as well. I think anyone in the top ten can legitimately beat anyone else in the top ten this year. If We had last years defense we could name our score.
