Screw those Texass whack jobs.
Someone needs to remind those ignorant fricks that Texas does not have a winning record against Arkansas since we joined the SEC. The Hogs have one of the most lopsided wins in Cotton Bowl history over those clowns, then went down to Austin and unloaded a can of whoop arse on them.
Not to mention, those rantards got their asses handed to them in basketball the year we went 2 & frickin 14 in SEC play.
Texas is one of the most overrated programs in college football.
They have a GRAND TOTAL of ONE(1) football national championship in the last 39 years. NO(0)basketball national titles in the last lifetime.
The Texas writer should know when Todd Day played basketball. Todd Day used to run up and down, around, through that shitty Texas basketball program. What a friggin idiot being on a radio show, claiming to be an "expert" and not knowing when the team you are ripping won a national title in basketball.
Bottom line......Those Texass bastards are still bitter about the fact that when Arkansas left the SWC, the piece of shite conference crumbled and could not make it without us.

The whole news scene about us lately has basically boiled down to trying to convince the world how one program that escaped the Texas boot heel is dying to get back under it. The intended audience is as much A&M as it is us, just to let them know that life is better under the shadow of Bevo.

I think it's because Arkansas is the farthest away. The least amount of people have been there for a game. Have to go somewhere to be able to fully appreciate it, I've enjoyed going to Fayetteville personally.

1) Because we're not disliked in Austin like Arky is.
2) Vandy is our smart school even if it is an athletic conference so no one is going to talk crap about them or they'll fire your parents.
3) UK is the crown jewel of basketball
4) The "outperforming" of USC rotates from year to year. Last year SC won in football and basketball and was swept in baseball. Those roles were exactly reversed this year.
5) Despite all your track titles SC is currently ranked ahead of Arky in the track poles

Your baseball team may have a couple more CWS appearances, but Arkansas owns the all time series with South Carolina.
Basketball Programs? No comparison. None. I do not care how you spin it. This has been our worst decade in 40 years, yet would be an excellent decade for South Carolina.
South Carolina has an all time .500 record in football, period, end of discussion. Never has Scar won their division, only 535 wins all time, 1 conference championship ever, no national titles, only 15 bowl appearances.
No Arkansas fan is claiming to be some super duper heavyweight in the SEC.
We have held our own though and have played for the SEC title on 3 occasions in football, have won the regular season & tourney titles in basketball, and have won the SEC in baseball & represented the SEC in the CWS.
