Arkansas could win the east. Miss State would have a punchers chance

No they wouldn't. You have Bama in the West and it's a crutch for all the other teams in the West. C'mon Miss st?? Really? Arkansas had chance when Petrino was coach

The UGA assistant that used to be at SMU and ETSU? Didn't know he was that important.

When the guy hangs a curve right in the middle of the plate, what do you expect?

Sure we could. Because in the past we've won the West. USC has had some teams that could win the West. There is not this huge yawning chasm between the two divisions. The West has been a bit stronger of late but not that long ago it was the other way around.

The belief that its been this way for the last 6 or so years therefore it must have been that way since the dawn of time is way off the mark. There will come a time, and it probably won't be too far in the future, where people will be talking about how it seems like the East is winning everything. The SEC and college football moves in cycles and sooner or later the East will bubble back to the top.

Some of you Westies keep throwing that out there yet ... the numbers don't support your contention

We did beat the east champs by a 21 point margin.

The East would have been fine if UT had not fallen off a cliff. USCe actually was somewhat of a saving grace for the east considering they were supposed to be a consistent bottom dweller.

I'll say it again. Arkansas beat Florida 31-10 last year. We were terrible last year.

Florida beat LSU at LSU . You just never know week from week in this conference other than Alabama winning.

We have NEVER been "a consistent bottom dweller" in this conference.

I doubt when they were added to the conference that anyone thought they would be as successful at football as they were
