I think they won a couple of cotton bowls. One time they took Arkansas' coach from them. I'd say both of those are top 10 if not top 5.

LSU in Sugar Bowl after Cannon's midnight run.

Ole Miss also won the national title in 1977 and 2008.

They didn't play a national title game any of those years so your graphic makes no sense here. As another aside, the AP wasn't the only poll either. TIA
