I will say this:

I remember the massive influx of sidewalk FSU fans during their run in the 90s and early 21st century. I think their lifetime fans are just like any others, but the FSU sidewalk fans were among the worst I've ever encountered.

If AU winning helps stop some of the influx of those, then I'm all for them winning.

No. SEC fandom was only cool when LSU and UF were taking turns winning championships. frick both Alabama schools.

Pulling for FSU. Hate them less. Streak is great at 7 and likely won't be matched. I kinda like Jimbo Fisher. Since my preference will have no bearing on the outcome, I feel free to pull for whoever I choose.

I want aubie to win but I don't think it's as much for the SEC as it is to hear the rest of the country bitch and moan for another year.

I love that everyone hates us down here. And the thing is, if fsu does end up winning, we are gonna have to hear how the SEC is finished and we suck. And watch how fast everyone forgets that "the SEC is down this year" like they've been spewing all year. If a down season means the best bowl record and a birth in the title game, I'll take it.

Yes.

Screw FSU. I even wanted UTK to beat FSU in '98.

I wish both teams could lose.
I'm not pulling for FSU, but I don't want Auburn to win. Auburn winning combined with the way Alabama finished the season could have a significantly negative impact on the program, and I don't think Alabama would be able to fix the impact until the 2015 season at the earliest.

I don't really care.

I'd like to see Auburn lose 22-0 and not cross the 50 yard line.

Sure. I cant pull for a team and a fanbase that acted like fsu did with the whole rape investigation. Winston might be a good kid and innocent but the way it all went down stinks.

I don't care who people are pulling for, but I am going to point something out a lot seem to be missing.

An FSU win is going to boost their program significantly. Being the team to end the SEC streak and being in the South and being very much like an SEC team will matter in recruiting. I personally think FSU is about to be a power again. Kids and top recruits love FSU - they have the swag factor, they have the women, they have the weather, they are in FL, etc. FSU could start putting an arse kicking on a lot of people including SEC teams in the playoff format. If there was a playoff back in the late 80's and 90's, FSU would have a half dozen national championships.

FSU is back as a powerhouse already. But telling you guys (gals) they could get back to dynasty type levels in a hurry.

The closer I get to the game, the more I'm wavering. Pulling for auburn is such unfamiliar territory for me. How do I act if they win? Whose tree do I poison? If I run across a passed out Seminole, do I rub my junk in his face...and isn't that dangerous?

This is all so confusing...

I don't really care about the streak at all. SEC homerism is just another way for little brothers to live vicariously through their rival and other superior SEC contenders. Alabama has won nearly half of the allotted championships so I don't care. Both of Auburn's titles have/will have come by virtue of needing other teams transfers to win consistently.

I feel the same way about any team from that dysfunctional cesspool you call a state.

So, do you want to go into the JUCO transfers that contributed to UA's titles?

If you live in B10 country, the streak matters. It matters so much to me that I want auburn to win. But if FSU starts crushing them, I'll enjoy that too.

But if you could hear what I hear in Indianapolis, SEC matters more. These assholes are unbearable...especially the buckeye fans. The only tolerable people are many of the Notre Dame fans, because they know what great football looks like.
