Rumor is the big money ags wouldn't agree to some contract details with meacham, namely, if sumlin is gone after next year meacham still wanted to get paid. Mazzone was okay with not doing that.

I expect sumlin gone after next year unless something weird happens in conference.

NO SPIN

Sumlin is lame duck 2016. Admin/donors wouldnt pony up big $$ for Meacham which Sumlin wanted.

Sumlin gone after 2016. Faction tried to fire him this year but failed.

You do know Mazzone is getting a guaranteed 3 year deal at 1 mill+ right?

Huh. He was just hospitalized for and in the ICU for blood clots in his lungs less than a month ago.

Surprised he's up for switching jobs and making a big move

Wasn't his choice - he was getting fired* by UCLA. He parlayed a dismissal by UCLA into 3.6 million guaranteed. Hell, Sterlin Gilbert was only able to bend Texas over for 850k - he needs to talk to Noel's agent.

*His contract was up and they weren't renewing.
