As I stated earlier, knew these charges were coming and the players involved won't be returning. Oh well.
Gotta play with the guys that weren't dumb as frick. Maybe it's natural selection in a way.
Missing Calloway and Scarlett will hurt a bit though, as well as some of the defensive guys that would have been decent backups.
Does this mean we get 9 additional scholarships next year?

Why are you being such a baby back? They'll be back Saturday for sure...blah blah blah. They haven't played against Michigan or Tennessee. You think Coach Mac is saving them for you guys? Come on man

Yea because he won't play them on national TV vs Michigan, or the Sec game of the week vs Tennessee
But yea...Kentucky is that elite team he brings them back for.
Dumb. arse.

Florida really is missing their true team MVP, Huntley Johnson, right now.

Could be. Embarrassing loss to Michigan, then if Lile knew how to coach, another home loss to UT. No way he doesn't play everyone with a pulse to not lose to UK. A loss to UK will get the fan base to actually realize McElwain isn't getting it done.

Yes, but you still can't sign more than 25 initial offers. You can probably add a few grad transfers to help ease the pain but the basic outcome is that a bunch of walk ones are about to get promoted.
On the plus side, the fact that they are charged may keep it from becoming a NCAA impermissible benefits situation.

Felony = kicked off team, school will demand it.

They are gone.
Unfortunately, this is just the beginning. I am not talking about at Florida. This exact crime is occurring on campuses all over and that has come to light in the investigation. So, the rest of us need to hold on to our butts because this could be trouble for a lot of schools.

How many LSU suspensions are currently in effect right now? 2 players booted last game for targeting
You really comparing targeting to grand theft?

Im not comparing anything, we have AU fans and now LSU fans talking like their guys are squeaky clean and theyre not.
AU QB was just kicked off the team.
LSU has damn near as many suspensions as we do.

Yeah, it's not like he pulled a Cam Newton or something!

I said i wasn't comparing the crimes they committed. Reading and comprehension is not your strong suit is it?

I think you are right. They didn't come up with this themselves, they heard or knew of someone at another school doing it.
I don't think any school are going to go digging for it though. But I'm sure if the FBI or some independent agency took a close look they'd find something.
One semi-wildcard though. Reading about this, it seemed to me that they had to have someone at the bookstore cooperating with them. As I understand it, they cards were overcharged, but they still got the items. How is that possible without someone just letting them walk out?
Wonder if it is possible that this extends directly from these players to other schools with a professional organizing these kids.

Never salty in my part. I figured the outcome of that game would not surprise me last season. I personally felt JA should have agreed to playing at UF to see how Ed O would respond in the road in a hostile environment.
