The nine University of Florida Football players who are facing allegations of having misused school funds, could be arrested as early as the end of this week, sources have told The Read Optional. Antonio Callaway, Jordan Smith, and one other player are likely to be arrested on charges of felony grand theft, with the possibility of further misdemeanour charges being tagged on, according to a lawyer representing one of the players. It’s anticipated that the other six players will also be arrested, but only three players have hired legal counsel thus far.

The investigation began back in mid-August when seven players were suspended indefinitely from team activities for purchasing electronic items with their school debit cards, selling them for cash, then claiming the cards as stolen, sources have confirmed to The Read Optional.

How many LSU suspensions are currently in effect right now? 2 players booted last game for targeting.

Well, the charges are being bumped to a felony. Thought they'd get a 3-4 game suspension and would be back if it was just a misdemeanor. The felony changes everything.

They'll play this weekend. Book it. McElwain is watching it implode.

I don't see the point in racing to the board to post about something as inevitable as a Florida player with a felony arrest. It's like posting that a fat lineman ate a big meal. Everybody knows it's going to happen eventually.

No thread needed, we are accustomed to seeing UF criminal activity on a weekly basis. Just kidding.
