Assuming you mean gumps.

Because the SEC already stated the hit was not legal and should have been penalized.

I think Saban should bench him a quarter or something like that, but I don't think he will.

When Fanning gave that Missouri player a power drive, Saban didn't let him travel with the team to Tennessee and held him out of garbage time until later on in the season.

BECAUSE HIS HIT WAS ON A DEFENSELESS PLAYER, AS DEFINED IN THE RULES.

I thought it was funny that the tweet said Ala and UGA would handle any action internally. WTF is UGA going to do?

They are talking about the Georgia player trying to gouge out Milliner's eyeball.

For a hit to the facemask yes. I was referring to all the people who think he should be suspended because Murray was defenseless, which he was not.

The refs missed a flag, but that doesnt mean he should be suspended. SEC agrees with that.

Thats one of the definitions of a defenseless player.

I don't think anyone legitimately thought this would happen. Not anyone except the butthurt legions of the vanquished anyway. Glad the SEC made the right call here.

Yep.

The bammers are the only ones even trying to defend that bush league shite.

And it's not surprising at all that Dial is not suspended for the national championship game.

Ok. I agree there. I never thought it warranted a suspension.

But the hit was not legal, as stated by the SEC, and should have drawn a flag for an illegal hit.

To argue otherwise is laughable, like many gumps that post here.

There should have been a flag for helmet to helmet but once Murray threw the INT he became a defender. Since he turned toward the ball carrier he was not a defenseless player.
