It's not serious at all douche nozzle.
This will pass quickly and be a non-story shortly.
You don't know jack shite about Louisiana, NOLA or coaching relationships.

We already get the LA kids we want, boycott or not.

How many elite recruits has Bama ever got from New Orleans over the past ten years?
I can answer... It would be 0.0
FYI a gump will reply to my post by saying, "We didn't want any of the NOLA recruits," even though they are littered throughout the NFL

Enjoy them. I'm sure they will contribute to another unranked season

It never ceases to amaze me how gifted some people are at cramming so much stupid into such a short post. How do you guys do it?

Probably another future starting QB in the league.

Imagine how many titles Alabama would have had in the last decade if they only included players from New Orleans.

It remains to be seen what the impact of all this is. Whatever it is , it is not a positive for LSU. The impression on many people is that LSU has returned to form ... shunned by New Orleans and N. Louisiana... for cause.
And what about that vindictive coach "O?" He clearly waited until NSD and immediately fired two coaches who probably crossed him when he was pulled out of the long-time unemployed ranks and given a token job that morphed into head coach.
He may "talk like one of us..." if you are from one small section of the State. But he doesn't talk like a New Orleanian, or a North Lousianian... And now he has left a bad impression on a lot of impressionable minds.
The massive level of denial and attempts at distraction by LSU fans on this board is proof how serious this is/was. Of course there couldn't be a formal boycott... but it remains to be seen how many prospects from New Orleans choose to go elsewhere. That will play out over the next few years.
You drama queen.

v true. You don't need 'em. But at the same time, you're not coming in to raid New Orleans talent from LSU.
NE-LA's wall has to be rebuilt

To be fair, there wasn't much talent to raid this last year. The highest ranked kid LSU signed from New Orleans was Racey McMath. He was a mid level 3-star ranked #22 in the state.

Watch his film. He's far from a 3 star
He didn't do the camp circuit

He may be, but the point still stands. The city of New Orleans was way, way down last year recruiting wise.

It would be ridiculous.
No it wouldn't be. People from other States don't know about Louisiana. There has been a 100 year hostility between New Orleans and the rest of the State in a great many things, but especially football. It was reflected in football with a long standing tradition of N.O. players NOT going to LSU. 50 years ago they went to Nebraska, etc.
Northeast Louisiana and NW LA also have a different culture and no strong ties to LSU. West LA is also rather antagonistic to LSU and not many recruits come from that area.
Usually every new LSU coach talks about "building a wall around LA." But the geography of the State makes that difficult because the cultures are so different and hostile to each other. Only Saban actually made inroads across the State and he successfully introduced recruiting NO talent. But generally, N.O. people view LSU with suspicion of prejudice.
Coach O just dropped a heaping pile of confirmation of many peoples beliefs about LSU and him. Will it make a difference? Probably 2-3 good players a year will go elsewhere. But LSU fans who think what O did was a smart public relations move that will have no negative effects on recruiting or how people view him and his program are deep in the tank of feel-good juice.

Bud, put the drink down and take a nap. You're spewing more BS all over the place. You've been proven wrong once in this thread already.

Winning and a decent Offense cures everything.
