Yeah, see, THT, USA funded their own program, just like the big boners at UAB can do if they want. They may lose money but they are the coming program. If they lose money, well, it is their money to lose. If UAB wants to self fund a football program, then what is stopping them from using USA's road map?

UAB should never have tried to do Div 1. They'd have had much more success and a little more support going against the Troy's, UNA's, Jacksonville's and would still be playing next year. As far as season attendance that everyone touts, it's only due to other teams travelling. The actual, real support that B'ham gave them with actual bodies in the stands was pathetic on average.

We gave one to Cameron Jefferson, but he wasn't exactly just a bench warmer. If that's what they are, then it's hard for me to feel sorry for them.
