I know there is a large amount of Bama fans out that think this is going to be a blowout and some that think we will have a game on our hands. I believe it will be a good game. LSU is not a one dimensional team as it was a year ago, however bama has a good arse defense along with LSU. Hurts hasnt been overly impressive passing the ball but he got wheels and can run. If Aranda can get players to contain to keep Hurts from running and making him beat LSU in the air we will have a defensive battle. Etling wont have much time with that atrocious Bama front line rushing him so he will have to move out and up in the pocket to get passes off. To everyone out there, i think it is going to be a way better game then last year and no one is certain to win it. Both teams are full of athletes and with LSU having new coaches and spreading the offense out it will be a hell of a lot more interest then toss dive right, toss dive left, screen pass, punt.

Two good teams on a saturday night in Death Valley which is going to be rockin...

May the best team win and put on a good show!!!

And just out of sportsmanship i hope to see Eddie Jackson recover quick, one hell of an athlete!!!

Ensminger better cool it with the play action. Seemed like every pass play in the second half vs OM was play action

i think we will use him more in this game than ever before.

lots 12 personnel with the TEs chipping bama's speed rushers.

Im hoping it's another game like 2014 and 2012 with LSU getting the monkey off our back.

Get well soon EJ.

You're probably going to get a bunch of noise, but I'll join in real talk. This game comes down to the LSU offensive line vs. the Bama defensive line. I for one do not like this match up with what I have seen so far this year from my tigers. LSU will have to hit some throws early even then Saban will come with some hard to pick up blitz packages. I really don't think we have the line to beat them this year. I think it will be more competitive than last year and I hope I'm wrong.

I expect a close, hard fought game.

most of them are just trolling. That "large amount" that feel it is going to be a blowout is likely more like 10%

probably 80%

I think the key to the game is LSU's front 7. If they can stop bama's running game and contain Hurts, it'll be very tough to move the ball. But if they have to stack the box, I think our WRs are too talented to be contained without any safety help.

Neither team is likely to have much success running the ball.

If EJ was playing I wouldn't worry. If we had a game to smooth out the wrinkles of Minka playing safety I wouldn't worry.

It only takes one missed assignment to break one though, which would change the dynamic of making LSU one dimensional which Bama is great at doing.

If Etling can keep his cool through the beating he's going to take, this could get hairy.

Certainly will be a major factor in our ability to run and pass but there are other factors.
Our DBs ability to cover their receivers in man coverage so we can get pressure on Hurts.
Special teams might be a factor: Bama's punter can flip the field and our ability to kick field goals over 40 yds is questionable at best.
Our ability to limit Hurts in running the ball.
It's gonna be interesting.

I think Bama's OL and DL have the edge over LSU's well enough that Bama should win. Avoiding costly mistakes will be key for both teams.

Neither does our QB. What's the +/- on how many QBs get knocked out of this game?

I guess if my team gave up 543 yards rushing and lost by 53 fricking points I'd be looking for another team to dickride too.
