Look, I am for one think AU didn't benefit from this "raid". But you have to admit that the feds are tying up loose ends now.

NCAA? As a Bama fan you can never tell what they will do

This has absolutely nothing to do with the NCAA, as of now. This is a Federal investigation. Again, the FEDS can't raid one business because another is dirty. There is a legal reason why they raided Nike today. It's not just so they can look and see what's in Nike's pockets.

ETA It sounds like the FEDS are just getting started.

Three pages and nobody has asked who these sources are? Lets go check news sites and see if this is true or not.

Nope, nothing.

Not to mention that Adidas stock has steadily grown by ~300% over the last 2 years while the others have fallen.

Businesses who have falling stock values don't have excess money to throw around. They slow and cut back on everything possible, even their product releases, to a crawl so the market reports don't look even worse.

TL/DR: If any of them can afford to throw around spare cash, its probably Adidas. Not that it matters, because as stated earlier, this is the FBI and they don't play that game.

If Bama football gets the death penalty does that mean Vandy is still in first place in the SEC?

Can't buy your way out of this type of shite with the DOJ. They are out for fines and penalties and the guys with the biggest wallets are the end game.

The only thing the top dogs will get is a lengthier legal battle. The lower guys will plead and snitch, this is how the feds handle bidness.

We all know good and god damned well that Russell Athletic was not going to pay anyone shite to go to GT. The margins russell gets on Walmart gym shorts not enough to support that.

It's a shoe company thing. And schools that have benefitted in recruiting from their relationships with shoe companies should be worried. That includes a couple Adidas schools, a couple of Nike schools in the east and at least one in the west. And a couple UA schools too.

The more I find out about this the more I am beginning to think that Andy Kennedy's shitty recruiting might actually be related to the fact that he doesn't cheat enough.

Maybe. They've had a slight uptick in basketball recruiting recently. Nothing extravagant though.
