In all honesty, Nick might be best for the job, but do you really want a player who so easily quits to be your leader on offense.

Good lord, at this rate your team may need gun play to get a win next year.

I'm not really surprised. I've heard Simms has been really impressive and Bray was looking really good as well.

I was expecting him to leave in a month or two. Simms and Bray were getting more 1st team snaps while Stephens just plain sucked from the very first scrimmage. (3 for 9, 6 yards performance.)
I wanted him to be a backup though so Bray could redshirt. but oh well.

Is it too late for Ole Miss to place him in a JUCO and sign him later?

Easily quits? He's a fifth year senior. He has waited a LONG time to get his shot. Maybe he thought he wasn't going to get the starting job and just wants to go play football somewhere. Don't really blame him.

The job was still his to lose though. He could've waited for spring to be over. Even then, it's not like his professional football career is going anywhere. He should just finish his degree at UT.

I'm sure he wants to play as long as possible.

Fortunate for UThug players, gunplay is practically second nature.
