Some Mizzou fans are pathetic right now. The OP trying to spread the Mizzou shite show on other coaches, other programs, is pathetic.

Do black activists plan to boycott the schools and hunger strike? In an effort to force the univeristy to hire more black faculty/staff, and get the schools to impliment mandatory racial tolerance education for their students? Are they going to try to get their school presidents fired?

something like that, yes, that will be the "on the surface" layer of the "cause", the below the surface part you won't see so much will be the drive to force Universities to continue supporting groups like Planned Parenthood and other semi-political groups that push the leftist agenda and get funded by tax payers through the universities support and partnership.

pretty reasonable response. Saban isn't dumb, he isn't gonna walk on such an obvious landmine.

a couple guesses as to what he really wanted to say:

1. My boys know better.
2. I don't think this is something a good team would get involved with.

Leave it to the OP to try to bash Saban's answer. Saban's answer was perfect.

Pinkel, on the other hand, came off like a complete fool, and kudos to the interviewer for not backing down. Pinkel was about as prepared for that interview as he was for Vandy.

I have no intention of ever caring about that interview. What did you gain from watching it? What insight were you looking for? Isn't his understanding of how to use a linebacker in coverage to make a young QB look away from throwing to the X on a Bang 8 more important than any of this shite? He's a football coach.

Seems like a great response...

I don't blame anyone for not speaking about these matters. No matter what Saban says, someone gets offended these days. Plus, he's a football coach that studies X's and O's! He's not the president or the pope.

if you mean the Kietzman interview, yea, that was another obvious situation that Pinkel never saw coming, as is his want.

"What about the 1st amendment coach would you support that?"

"Too complex for me."

Saban should have manned up and said what he would have done in Pinkel's shoes.

Saban's a pussy and an embarrassment to the SEC.

Saban said he didn't know the particulars of the situation Pinkel was faced with. Ironically enough, at the time your little pansy went on his hunger strike, Nick Saban was preparing his #4 ranked football team for a marque matchup with the #2 team in the country.

That shitshow y'all had going on in Mizzou was way off in the distance in Saban's mind.

He's running a program, an organization. If you don't understand that by now, there's no helping you.

Your earlier post said his job was to run a program. Now you're saying he's just a football coach. You obviously don't grasp how one differs from another.

Part of the interview is missing there.

Saban: "I have a better question, why are they in the SEC? Let's start there."

I hate Saban as much as the next guy but don't try to to include him in this.

I'm sure Saban would've handled 1000x better than Pinkel did. If you don't know the details, how are you supposed to answer?
