He's literally worn the same Nike vest for 10 seasons in almost every pre-season/early season practice. Not sure how it isn't in tatters.

I dont understand the purpose of this kind of garment. No pockets and its obviously hot as hell outside...since no work gets done inside in the air conditioning...

Why do coaches wear these? Gus wears shite like this too.

I think Saban learned his lesson in 2010. Forgot to wear it and unleashed Cam upon us all.

No clue - I understand coaches/players wearing long sleeves because they think it keeps their blood flowing, or baseball players wearing batting practice jackets.

I don't understand dri-fit vests.

So that you can wear whatever is comfortable underneath but still have an A on your chest that weights almost nothing.

Yea - but I assume he's wearing some Alabama issued Nike dri-fit shirt on underneath.

My guess is he wears it because it is gray and he is the only one out there in a gray shirt so he is easily found/recognized in the midst of 150 people. Better gray than black when it is 102 degrees, probably.

Still, figure at some point he could get a replacement

I would imagine in some crazy scheme to make a profit, the Nike people produced more than one vest and Saban probably has several that he just cycles through.

I have nipples Greg, could you milk me?

But seriously, it is clearly on it's last leg. The red line has become some sort of pinkish color.

How do we know it's the same exact one?

We don't - but it's clearly been the same one for a while as the current version is faded on all the colored spots.

Nike could have kept making new versions of the 2007 one for him, but I doubt it. They have 20 since then that are basically the exact same version but lighter and more "dri-fitty".

If I was making bets I'd bet that it's the same one. He could have a closet of 2-3 that are all equally getting worn, but I'd guess they were new in 2007. I doubt any of them were made after that.

SOME SLEUTH GET ON THE CASE.
