Really should be a written rule that posting anything from Clay Travis, Thayer Evans, or Pete Thamel will result in an immediate week long break from posting.

They're not the same.

Thayer Evans and Pete Thamel make up sources to report "news." Clay Travis is columnist who writes humor pieces. He may be a douche, but he's not a fraud.

I've never seen Clay try and pass off a fabricated piece as legit. His inferences are usually pretty obvious. I don't blame people for saying he's got an agenda, he does, but I've never seen him hide behind "sources" in an attempt at legitimacy.

I never understood that hate for Clay Travis but he also keeps most his articles about SEC West programs. Kinda reminds me of a poor man's EDSBS

I'm glad you pointed out that Nick Saban is in support of a 9 game schedule, unlike all the other pussy coaches in this conference.

If LSU played Bamas pansy ads schedule I would be for it also. Just sad really.

OMG.....this is hilarious AND so true.

A brilliant commentary....but will the bammers understand the irony? Or will it sail right over their simpleton heads?

You do realize I have stayed out of this hurry up no huddle conversation completely right?

Clay is definitely one of the best guys on sports radio. It may not be a huge accomplishment, but I think he's entertaining. The only serious pieces from him are usually pretty solid, but they tend to be like the SEC network financial impact one that just look at numbers. Oh, and his very serious campaign for Pearl.

Without Nick Saban standing steadfastly on the front lines of college football health, we were clearly heading towards an era where players smoked while playing football. Plainly, that's dangerous. Especially with sickle cell and HIV and syphilis to consider. Otherwise, those hurry up no huddle offenses want to trot out sickle cell syphilitic smoking HIV positive quarterbacks who they are trying to kill. AND RUN THE READ OPTION WITH THEM IN THE HOT SUN. Who's going to protect you from sickle cell syphilitic HIV positive smoking deaths on the football field?

Nick F'ing Saban, that's who.

I'm surprised he just came up with 14. Not being allowed on the recruiting trail, I expected more.

He's in that limbo between Finebaum, and Scarbinsky, the poor man's Finebaum.

My bad, that's already in the SEC officiating handbook

It is obvious that the writer post on this site as an LSU fan.

And a 9th SEC game isn't going to increase the chances of injury? Seems we have a consistency issue here.
