I think Alabama can make do without Geno, but they certainly need the insurance. Alabama has some great talent, just need to step up the coaching.. Maybe Avery Johnson can coach the secondary.

Saban's defensive philosophy is predicated on lock down corners. Bama is going to have get more aggressive with the schemes up front to help the corners out. It's that simple.

The last 2 years, I'd agree, but I thought our secondary was pretty good in 2012...Milliner, Clinton-Dix, Sunseri, Lester, Blue. Our pass defense was 1st in the SEC and 7th in the nation...not as good as 2011, probably not as good as 2009, but certainly not garbage...
