Didn't Georgia have players arrested a few weeks ago? And hasn't Richt had several arrested in the short time he's been in Miami

Can we all just agree that every team has some TPOS. As long as they are not rapists (UT) or murderers (Florida), they will probably find a way to keep them on the team and fans will forgive them. It's sad and terrible, but these coaches livelihoods depend on winning and they'll sacrifice some ethical values to do it.

That was an unfortunate incident more reflective of America's continued criminalization of marijuana, which for many athletes is used to help them manage pain caused by various injuries

And even if Alabama legalized it these 4 would have been underage and thus still not legally allowed to have or smoke it.

Not if the legal age is 18. If someone can join the military to fight for their country they should have the right to smoke weed

True, but when fans (of the university that produced Harvey Updyke) try to all of a sudden instance themselves from players they were so quick to claim as they're own on signing day, now choose to distance themselves by bringing up the LA connection, it shows the inherent double standard gumps (or updyke's) are so accustomed to.
