Domestic violence is just not funny. IMHO it was a tasteless comment. Do not care when you flame a team, but just think there really is not a place for minimizing an abused woman, especially in this case since the same things were said about the prior victim.

I am not sure where you are coming from --- why comment it was okay if she was a big girl? I only ask because that was the same justification used for the first girl. . . again, the celebrity not withstanding, laying hands on a woman was taught as inexcusable to me.

This is not Nick Saban's fault. He should not shoulder any of the blame for this. Nick Saban did not assault this woman. Nick Saban gave a guy a chance to come change his life and fix it, the guy blew it! Saban should drop him from the team now.

It won't because there are fans out there(for every team) that would never question the validity of their university's actions... In this case people try to show them where the err, in hopes that at some point they step back and say to themselves, "maybe I take this sport too serious"... If we can just save one
