UGA usually leads the conference in offseason trouble (insert LSU team vote joke below), but Richt is usually quick to give guys the boot when they F up. Is this a part of his "good, wholesome Christian" personality--I.e. that he thinks he can help turn a troubled kid's life around once he gets them on campus, or does he just not do a lot of vetting on the players and chooses to roll the dice with character-issue guys?

Its fun to troll at times. But damn, get ready as soon as an AU player fricks up. You will justly get what is coming your direction.

Saban ought to be arrested for beating up the school down South (API), whenever they play them. You can't blame them for wanting to run trick plays. They are justvtrying to exist in a world of football that they can't go toe to toe with.

So, I ask myself, is the real reason for all these API'ers critizing Saban and wanting them to cut Taylor lose-they have a need to plug a hole in their defensive line. Afterall, they do stand by the gates of other institutions with their hands held out, in order to sign troubled players. This is not just my perception, just ask Florida and Georgia people. You'll find a consensus.

I don't even understand why Saban went after Taylor to begin with especially when you consider the fact that defensive line is the strongest, deepest unit on the team. His player evaluation skills have left a lot to be desired since the 2009 class.

I agree. Maybe Taylor had someone behind the scene advocating for him? Someone Saban trusted? Only reason I can think of to make such a high risk move

Tiny Nick wants to have it both ways. He wants to lecture and berate reporters and other observers AND He wants to be insulated from criticism. Tiny Dancer has the ESPN talking heads and the Alabama media culture so intimidated that they are scared to make natural common sense observations. And He knows that the average Gump fan would spill blood for Him on demand. He is a quasi-religious figure and He expects His Orthodoxy to go unquestioned. He has had His run, and He knows that the game is moving on without Him and He is going lowest common dominator, knowing nobody will say a word. RMFTR.
