Percentages show a statistical comparison between the two that allows them to be on par with each other since you are comparing two different things. Obviously I am not comparing the exact numbers 50.5 and 147.1 and saying one is bigger than the other, but showing what they represent. I am sorry you dont understand

I know you are slow, so I'm going to attempt to break this down to you one more time before I move on to people who are capable of logical argument.

8 pts/game + 8 points = 100% increase in points surrendered.
40 pts/game - 8 points = 20% decrease in points scored

100% =\= 20%

Not an accurate representation of how well each team deviated from their normal play because the defense has an inherently low number to start with whole the offense has an inherently high number.

Thanks for contributing to my thread though. I look forward to your future posts in my threads you stupid taint biscuit.

What you saw in 2013 is what you can expect out of Gus's Offenses in the future. Chizik held him back during his time there to make up for a poor defense.

Again with the projections. Have you figured out the inherent flaws with your OP yet Math Major Doc?

So I take it you still haven't figured out why percentages are better to use taint biscuit?

I am guessing not since your retorts are childish. Hint, it has to do with what percentage the mean is and the diviations from that.

Gus is when 1-0 as a Head Coach vs. Bama. That's the only real stat that matters here.

That and the lung cancer prevalence rate among HUNH opponents.

Yes. What does that have to do with your original statement?
